From Rukban to Abu Kemal

It has long been known that in Rukban camp, which is located in the Al-Tanf zone, American instructors are preparing a reserve for bandit groups.
This was repeatedly confirmed by the militants themselves, who were detained in the southern regions of Syria during interrogations.
So, for example, one of the leaders of the sabotage group captured in the province of Quneitra told in detail how he was trained to commit terrorist acts.
But why should the Americans spend a lot of money on maintaining the Rukban camp? Why should they train terrorists? Why in addition to the American instructors Rukban they persistently invite British, French and German experts in clandestine operations. By the way, only the representatives of Germany refused to come. Instructors from France and the UK have long been adopting advanced experience in training terrorist groups.
In the end, there are no guarantees that the trained bandit groups will always be obedient to the owners. There are a lot of counters examples.
Even the ancient Romans, laying the foundations of judicial proceedings, asked the question «Who’s benefits?»
So it is here. It is clear that it is beneficial to the United States. But why?
The answer is simple, traditional and boring: oil. And nothing, but oil.
The oilfields captured by the Americans on the eastern bank of the Euphrates should be profitable. To do this, Iran must be strangled and, better yet, driven back under oil sanctions, and Syria, which has been torn apart but is recovering from years of civil war, must not be allowed to become more violent.
This is where trained groups of U.S.-led militants are needed to prevent the reconstruction of the Palmyra refinery, to wreak havoc in southern Syria in the provinces of As-Suwayda and Daraa, and, most recently, to take control of the large village of Abu Kamal on the right bank of the Euphrates, near the borders of Iraq, Syria and Jordan.
It is a strategic point. Through it, Iran is assisting Syria in its fight against terrorists. Block it — and only the dangerous sea route around the Arabian Peninsula through the Suez Canal to Tartus will remain.
As a result, Iran will not be able to help Syria, Syria will not be able to claim lands east of Euphrates, oil will bring the U.S. profit and will repeatedly recoup the cost of maintaining and training terrorists in Rukban.
Russia can claim anything.
Once again, on July 28, at a briefing, Sergei Rudskoy, head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of Russia, said, in particular, that according to the data of the Russian General Staff, Americans are preparing sabotage groups from local oppositionists to destroy Syria's oil and gas infrastructure. A large detachment and several small groups of such saboteurs are now forming in the U.S.-controlled 55-kilometer zone around Al-Tanfa. «The total number of militants reaches 2,700.
That's right.
Only in the struggle for profit from the sale of oil are the arguments of trained terrorist groups more powerful than any statements. And well-trained terrorists will soon move from Rukban to Abu Kemal.
The gun that hangs on the wall must be fired. Sometimes it shoots the owner of the shotgun.
